The Cataraqui Trail

The Cataraqui Trail is a year-round, shared-use recreation trail. In spring, summer and fall it welcomes everyone from hikers to cyclists. In winter it is open to snowmobilers bearing a current Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail permit. Cross-country skiers are welcome to share the trail. We encourage all users to purchase an annual (Jan to Dec) $25 membership.
The Friends of the Cataraqui Trail advocates for the sustainability, enjoyment and stewardship of the Cataraqui Trail. The Friends group supports the public use of the Trail, promotes the Cataraqui Trail and assists the Cataraqui Regional Conservation Authority (CRCA) as a volunteer work force for light maintenance and to monitor and report trail hazards and maintenance issues to the CRCA.

Trail Alert

Over the next couple weeks there will be work on the trail around County Rd. 5 heading east. Users will experience an uneven and rough surface in this area until the work is completed. Staff will also be out mowing during this time. Please obey safety signs and directions from work crews.
